19:50 – IDF threatens Iranian plane to prevent landing in Syria for suspected Hezbollah weapons transfer

The Israeli Air Force threatened an Iranian plane suspected of carrying weapons meant for Hezbollah to prevent it landing in Syria, according to Ynet News.

The plane, as in previous, similar incidents, returned to its tracks after Israeli fighter jets circled near the Mahan Air plane to signal it wouldn’t be allowed to land.

The move was part of an ongoing effort to enforce the ceasefire with Hezbollah and prevent the terror group from rearming.

19:37 – At least 410 people dead as regime fights ongoing Syrian rebel offensive

According to the Syrian Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, at least 412 people have been killed since the beginning of the rebel attack that captured the city of Aleppo and continues to advance south.

This includes 23 regime soldiers who were killed in the attack on Aleppo, according to the UK-based monitoring group.

17:52 – IDF: Earlier Jenin airstrike killed Hamas terrorist who murdered an Israeli in August

After reports of an IDF airstrike near Jenin in the morning, the army confirmed it killed Hamas terrorist Wael Lahlouh and three other gunmen in Kabatia.

Lahlouh murdered the late Yonatan Deutsch in a drive-by terror shooting in August and headed a terror squad that carried out several other shooting attacks in the Gilboa area, the military said.

“Immediately after the attack, IDF troops from the Menashe Brigade raided the point of the attack, and found three weapons on the bodies of the terrorists. Also, additional weapon parts, vests and materials for making explosives were located,” the IDF stated.

12:40 – UNRWA pausing aid to Gaza due to looting by armed gangs

The delivery of humanitarian aid into Gaza has been paused because of looting by armed gangs. The key crossing site of aid into Gaza at Kerem Shalom has been considered “unsafe for months” and “at this point requires a pause,” according to UNRWA head Philippe Lazzarini in a post on 𝕏.

A large number of convoy vehicles were stolen by gangs at the Kerem Shalom crossing on Nov. 16, and with the recent attempt to bring in more aid having the same fate, UN officials made the “difficult decision” to hit pause on the aid deliveries.

11:35 – Lebanese media report Israeli artillery fire in southern Lebanon

The Hezbollah-affiliated news site al-Akhbar reported Israeli artillery shelling on the outskirts of Aitaroun and the northern outskirts of Al-Khiam in southern Lebanon. It also reported explosions near the towns of Yaroun and Maroun in southern Lebanon.

09:25 – Fragments from interceptor reported in Tzur Hadassah following ballistic missile interception

Following the interception of the ballistic missile launched from Yemen, fragments from the interception fell in the community of Tzur Hadassah near Jerusalem. No alarms were activated. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) is investigating the incident.

A spokesperson for Tzur Hadassah said: “Although the launch and interception were not in our area and therefore no alarm was activated, shrapnel fell in the community at the Keshet playground. Forces arrived at the scene, the fence and grass sustained minor damage and the issue is being dealt with.”

Palestinian authorities in Hebron also reported interceptor fragments falling in the Arab town of Halhul near Hebron. No injuries were reported.

08:30 – Palestinians report Israeli airstrike near Jenin

According to Palestinian reports, four militants were killed in the airstrike south of Jenin in the region of Samaria. The IAF attack targeted a squad that had been under surveillance for several weeks.

Palestinian Authority-affiliated Wafa News reported that the vehicle containing the four militants was struck as it left the town of Sir near Jenin, killing the terrorists.

06:30 – Alarms sound in central Israel following ballistic missile launch from Yemen

The IAF intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen using the Arrow missile defense system. Sirens sounded in several communities throughout central Israel. IAF fighter jets intercepted the missile before any physical damage was caused. Four people were injured while fleeing to a protected space.

06:00 – Iranian FM blames rebel advances in Syria on ‘US-Israeli plot’

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says the resurgence of fighting in northern Syria is part of an American-Israeli project to spread insecurity in the West Asia region. Araghchi’s remarks came during a phone call with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov on Saturday evening.

Iran’s Foreign Minister: “I am heading to Damascus today to deliver Iran’s message to the Syrian government. We stand firmly with Syria and see no distinction between Israel and Takfiri terrorists. Following the Israeli regime’s failures, the enemy is now attempting to… pic.twitter.com/M6Syh98Wnp

Iranian Ambassador to Syria Hossein Akbari said the rebel attacks against President Bashar al-Assad’s army were a result of the Lebanon ceasefire. “There is a clear connection between the terrorist attacks in Syria and Israel’s defeat in Lebanon,” he said.
